The Climaglyph philosophy

There has never been a better time to be a weather and climate data nerd, until you realize just how much there is to look at. Figuring out where to go, how to parse it and use it are all chief concerns.

Then there are deeper and often somewhat subjective questions like: What does it mean? Does it even matter? And these days… Will it remain available?

Published in multiple outlets on many topics across the foreign affairs to extreme weather and climate change spectrum, I have spent 20 years increasing my analytical skills. In an early career as a policy researcher working with one of the top defense experts in the business, the idea of data mattering became ingrained, only to be strengthened since.

Of the uncountable articles written on weather and climate change, attention to trends and ability to quickly parse and understand reams of numbers has been crucial. It’s time to share that with others on a more intimate level.
